My First Award!

Merle very kindly nominated me for the Million Dollar Friend Award.

Now this is the very first one for me so it’s very special, a million thanks Merle.

Apologies to Merle for the delay in doing this, she must think I've forgotten about it but I haven't! It's just taken me so long to actually organise it.

Beginner that I am hadn’t a clue what to do but she graciously sent me the guidelines and here they are:

The Million Dollar Friend Award comes with the following rules :

1. Only five people allowed.

2. Four have to be dedicated followers of your blog.

3. One has to be someone new or recently new to your blog and live in another part of the world.

4. You must link back to who gave you the award.

It was hard to choose as there are so many lovely people who comment on my site. I wondered whether my Blogging friends already had this award so I tried checking and if I’ve dropped a clanger apologies!

With these rules in mind . . . I bestow The Million Dollar Friend Award on the following friends :

***********
Brenda

***********
Renie

***********
Old Lady Lincoln

***********

and my new reader Hippo Chic

  4. Hi Greg

Strictly speaking dither is the verb and dithery the adjective. Ditherer isn't really a noun but it is used locally as one.

I notice I use a lot of local and regional words now. I'm beginning to sound like my grandparents!

  5. Wow! It is always nice to know someone is thinking nice things about me. Thank You very kindly for this honor Winifred. I will try to follow the rules, but I find I don't do very well at them sometimes, because I forget things, or let's just say I get distracted very easily. But I hope I do the right thing. I am very glad that we are getting to know each other. I look forward to getting to know each other better. Have a million dollar day! Oh...that was very corny!

  6. well done on receiving the award. You were saying that you can't get MASH. If your daughter can get the Hallmark channel on satellite you will find it on there.
