Google Doesn't Like me Anymore!

Well I don't know what I've done to upset Google but this is the message I'm getting when I try to visit anyone's Blog.

We're sorry...
... but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.
We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a
virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.

If you're continually receiving this error, you may be able to resolve the problem by deleting your Google cookie and revisiting Google. For browser-specific instructions, please consult your browser's online support center. If your entire network is affected, more information is available in the
Google Web Search Help Center.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.
The message came up after I had linked to the T- Mobile advert on You Tube that Gill posted. When I tried to go back to Gill's website to say how great the ad was this message came up.

After that I couldn't get into anyone else's postings. Take a look at the video, it's brilliant. Wish I had been there when they were filming, I wouldn't have been able to resist getting up and bopping about. They can't use all of it in the ad, would cost them a fortune. I'm dying to see it on telly.

Well I've tried what they suggested but nothing has worked and I don't have any kind of virus or spyware that McAfee can pick up. It's taken about 4 hours to scan my lap top but nothing is showing.

I can get into my Blog but nobody else's. Weird!

So, sorry if I don't visit you for a while. It's not that I'm ignoring you and I know I'll miss you and suffer from withdrawal symptoms. Hope to see you soon and in the meantime, maybe I'll get some housework done!

  1. There must be something running through Google. Raph Neckmann told me the same thing about Poetikat's yesterday. It must be so frustrating for you Winifred! I hope they get it resolved soon. At least we can visit YOU.

  2. I thought the video was quite nice. Shows how people can all get along if they just let their differences go and go with the flow of the music. Hope you find your problem soon. I'm sure you've shut down and started the computer up again, right?

  6. Sometimes I think when Google is doing or trying something new it can mess up our computers, some worse then others. A week or two ago my e-mail was going into Spam, I almost deleted it before I read it, just happened to catch it in time. But, in a day or two it was working fine. Although, now I check the Spam before I delete it to make sure my wanted e-mail isn't in it. I hope things get sorted out and you are back up and running soon!

  7. Computers! Can't live with them can't live without them. I would agree that when google changes or updates... things go a little nutty and you can't pay all that much attention to the error messages they send. I shut it all down and reboot, sometimes it helps, sometimes not. Hope it straightens out for you soon. Have a great weekend!

  9. I have been having a problem posting comments on your blog for some time, Winifred. But that message seems strange. It gave me a hard time about 2 weeks ago, when it told me I didn't have a blog and to sign up for one, etc. But that got resolved, thankfully. Hope your problem is resolved soon!

    Have a good weekend!

  11. Well that's awful. I am not going to click on that link you referenced. I don't know if that's what did it, but I'm better off safe than sorry. Hope you get things fixed soon.

  12. Hi Winifred - no trouble getting onto your blog but lately have been experiencing other problems, whereby the same window keeps opening without my requesting it - had 17 of the same open the other day. Have seen the T Mobile video (excellent) but no problems with that. Fingers crossed that you will "get well soon". A x

  15. Hi Winifred,
I was unable to see your last entry for some bizarre reason. I will try again after dinner." I did purchase Never Have Your Dog Stuffed by Alan Alda yesterday". I plan to start reading this weekend. I hope you are able to get the Google problem solved.

  17. Dear Winifred ~ ~ I am glad Google has forgiven you and now allows you to read posts and stay in touch with your friends. I get reall frustrated when "they" can't find my blog, and then I cannot read or post, but never had the Error sign. I am glad you are pleased with the award. Take care, my friend, Love, Merle
