Divas Don't Knit by Gil McNeil
It was the title that grabbed me when I saw this book in the library. I'm certainly no diva!
I did enjoy this bit of light reading. Brought it back from the library and struggled to put it down to eat! Loved the characters and the knitting and had a laugh at the child related situations and comments. The setting was good too in a washed up British seaside resort. Great!
A good read when you need a bit of a lift without taxing your brain too much. Must look up some more of her books!

Thanks always looking for a good book.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well with you both.
Good thing I'm not a diva. I'll have to check out this book. I'm always looking for a lighthearted read to intersperse between my crime novels.
ReplyDeleteI went to Amazon and read an excerpt of the book and know how you got hooked so quickly. It appears it's going to be delightful.
ReplyDeletePatsy - I'm OK thank you. Hope to do more blogging soon. Life has just got in the way over the summer.
ReplyDeleteRudee - I certainly enjoyed it and like you I need a bit of a lift between the crime and knitting.
Granny Annie - Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I'd love to have had a wool shop but I would never have made any money. I'd have knitted the profits!
I must be a diva as I don't/can't knit!! Sounds like a great book.
