  2. Hi Winifred, Happy Christmas to you and your family as well.

We woke up to snow on the ground but not more than an inch. It warmed up and was pleasant all day.

I am hoping Christmas Day will be as enjoyable :)

  8. Happy Christmas to you Winnifred and a happy and prosperous New Year.
The growing of ones own herbs etc for medicines sounds great but the process to turn them into that is often tedius.

Of course things like Sage tea for sore throats is easy.

  9. Hi Winiford...I just read your comment on "18 Wonderful Years", where you said you've sewn but never made a quilt. I am encouraging you to just jump in there. There is nothing to be afraid of because unlike constructing clothes, there is nothing right or wrong. If nothing matches you can call it "folk art" and if nothing matches you can call it a "scrap quilt"....don't worry, and just relax and enjoy the process. That is all making a quilt really entails anyways. I have not yet looked at your blogs, but I will right now! Have a great day!
