Well this is what Michelle sent me. Isn't it lovely! This is Michelle's picture of the mailart before she posted it.
Can you see the two lovely little ladybirds? The detail is amazing and the stitches are really perfect. I was hoping that if you clicked on the pictures they would enlarge and you could see the detail but it doesn't seem to work. Now I have no idea why this works sometimes and on other occasions it doesn't if you are doing the same thing. Maybe it's a Blogger quirk. If anyone can enlighten me I'd be grateful. The size of the photos are quite large apart from this little one below, so not sure why it isn't working.

Amongst the lovely goodies there's a gorgeous tiny little ladybird pendant which is from Delos. Hope you can see it just above the greetings card form Michelle.

Now I'm worried that my mailart won't be up to this standard. I'll just have to do my best!

ReplyDeleteI wondered about sealing it a polypocket after it had been stamped to keep it clean.. horrible when some thing like that goes missing in the post and yes recorded delivery is a must.
Where is your harbour photo taken it looks so peaceful?
With the photos on your blog not enlarging with a click I wondered did you save and then insert or just copy and paste as a copy and paste wouldn't respond?

Brend - The header phot is one I took of Rhodes Harbour. One that did turn out OK.
ReplyDeleteAlways Smiling - You can put it into a plastic wallet which is what Michelle did. The Post Office did put one stamp on the fabric envelope Michelle stitched and stamped it, the rest went onto the plastic pocket.
I always save then insert the pictures. I never paste them. Also I don't reduce them as someone said if they are small they don't enlarge. What's weird is I always do it the same way. So why do they enlarge sometimes and not others? My pictures on my earlier post about the church in Rhodes do enlarge as you can see here http://stopprocrastinatingandjustdoit.blogspot.com/2009/06/church-going-in-rhodes.html Scary stuff!
